The Details

A shopping and leisure paradise, Grand Bay also happens to be the area Mauritians head to when they want a fun-filled night out (restaurants, bars and clubs).
The wonderful Pereybere public beach is popular because of its shopping facilities, restaurants and pubs.

Discover a large variety of tropical fruit trees, and colourful and perfumed exotic flowers. Trips on mountain bikes or hiking are possible.

Island diving opportunities include wrecks and canyons on the western and northern islands, as well as sharks, turtles, mangoes and gorges. Those who cannot dive can experience underwater scooters and underwater walks, which is an entire experience on its own.
Trou aux Cerfs
Trou aux Cerfs is the most famous dormant volcano in Mauritius. From there, you have a fantastic 360° view of the high plateau of the island of Mauritius.
Rochester Falls
The Rochester Falls in the Southern part of the island are simply beautiful. Surrounded by trees, you can swim, walk or climb amongst them.

Flacq Market

Mahebourg Market
Open every day, but doubling in size on Mondays, this market is known as the place to bag the best bargain.
